Yoga Instructor - Contractor

We are looking for a passionate Yoga instructor to lead classes for active older adults from the surrounding community, as well as our residents.  Seeking an individual who is sensitive to the needs of this demographic, with an eye for those who may need additional support or encouragement.  Dedicated to helping people improve their quality of life in all areas of wellness, this instructor should have the ability to create a positive and engaging experience for any participant.  Benefits include a competitive wage based on experience and a FREE membership to Bluestem Wellness Centers in Hesston and North Newton.  

Responsibilities

• Form genuine and meaningful relationships with participants
• Provide safe class instruction with modification options
• Educate and communicate effectively
• Track and submit attendance records
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment
• Build and maintain class participation
• Substitute for other instructors as needed
• Stay current with trends in the industry
• Maintain ongoing development and training
• Maintain safety certifications

• Yoga instructor training and teaching experience required
• Ability to provide chair-based instruction required
• Current CPR certification required
• Must pass an essential functions test (EFT)
