Pilates Instructor

Minnesota Women’s Care is seeking dynamic, organized and responsible Pilates Instructor to join our growing team in our new Pelvic Floor and Women’s Fitness Center in Maplewood, MN. 

Job Requirements:

We are seeking an instructor for Pilates Reformer classes. This position will work closely with a team of physical therapists and chiropractors and exercise experts to work with women of all ages and stages of life. Specifically, those with pelvic floor dysfunction, prolapse, urinary incontinence, prenatal, post-natal and those with weight loss goals.  

• Certified in Pilates Reformer 
• Additional fitness certifications from accredited agencies preferred 
• Understanding of anatomy and importance of proper alignment and safe movement practices
• Experience working with clinical and non-clinical populations
• CPR & AED certifications
• Must be friendly, approachable, positive, and genuine
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for duration of a class
• Passion for health & wellness a must!

Job Description:

• Work in a multi-disciplinary team of experts to put develop safe and effective Pilates workouts, specific to the client’s needs
• Teach 1:1 Pilates classes
• Teach Group Pilates classes (4:1)
• Develop, safe, professional, and comprehensive programs for our patients/members. 
• Monitors and instructs clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use the equipment
• Ability to modify and adapt instruction based on students’ physical needs
• Promotes and sells Pilates classes, fitness memberships, personal training and group training to members
